Kevin M.Kahuthu – (Executive Director)

Mr Kahuthu is an accomplished banker having held senior banking positions as Credit risk analyst, Corporate & Investment banking, Treasury and Trade financing. He has championed different department at Equity bank, HF Group, United Bank for Africa, Credit bank and Middle East Bank.

Mr Kahuthu is credited for innovation of bank guarantees agency model in Kenya’s banking sector in 2014, eliminating bureaucracy in decision making and financial engineering on trade credit guarantee scheme to address collateral barrier being the key hindrance to SME’s access to financing needs.

Mr Kahuthu holds bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kenyatta University and Master of Business Administration -Finance from University of Nairobi. He is also a CPA-K holder and a Member of ICPAK.
